Girls Night Out

Twice each year, a committee from the United Way Board hosts Girls’ Night Out to benefit the United Way of St. Francois County.

Typically held at Twin Oaks Vineyard and Winery, women are invited to bring $20 for United Way, plus an unwrapped toy or gift card for Season of Hope, a program funded by United Way to put gifts in the hands of children in St. Francois County during the Christmas season. The guests receive a free wine-tasting, soda or water plus finger foods.

In addition, the committee hosts a silent auction. All funds raised through Girls’ Night Out go toward the grants the United Way has pledged to award each year.

Last year, Girls Night Out helped provide thousands of dollars to be awarded in grants by United Way to various charities in St. Francois County, as well as give out toys to over 1,600 children in the Parkland region!

This year’s 2017 Girls’ Night Out will be on Thursday, October 26th from between 5 and 7pm at the Twin Oaks Vineyard & Winery at 6740 Highway F, Farmington.
